I believe you have the capability to make changes that will result in increased well-being, whether you experience chronic worry, sadness, dissatisfaction with your life or relationships, or have suffered trauma. I am committed to providing care that is personalized, supportive, nonjudgmental, and, most importantly, effective. I offer treatment focused on helping you identify your unique goals then work hand-in-hand to help you achieve them; finding ways to overcome obstacles and setbacks along the way.

I provide counseling guided by a Cognitive-Behavioral (CBT) approach to help clients develop skills to manage stress, anxiety, depression, and the regular ups and downs of life. I also offer education in the use of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills, Behavior Modification techniques, and Mindfulness training. I serve adults, children, individuals, couples, and families.

I specialize in the treatment of: 

·      Anxiety Disorders: General, Social, Phobias, Panic, and OCD   

·      Mood Disorders: Depression, Bipolar I and II

·      Adjustment Disorders: Managing symptoms related to current stressors                                                

·      Interpersonal Issues: Communication, family stressors, getting along with others

·      Behavior Change: Breaking habits or creating more effective behavior patterns

·      Mindfulness: The ability to focus on the present and be more purposeful

·      Stress Management: Developing skills to manage and/or decrease stress

·      Couples Work: Issues specific to couples and romantic partnerships

·      Parenting Issues: Guidance and training related to effective behavior management

·      General Wellbeing: Support in creating intentional habits and structures to be well

She provides a safe and understanding environment and you work together to create a plan each session for takeaways and things to work on.
